Marty Putnam

Marty Putnam has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Marty began their career at CyVek in 2010, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer. At CyVek, Marty played a key role in developing a groundbreaking technology to measure the concentration of protein biomarker panels in blood samples. Marty oversaw the development of a disposable cartridge and an automated assay that could measure up to 8 biomarkers simultaneously within an hour. Marty's innovative work at CyVek lasted until 2015.

Following their tenure at CyVek, Marty joined ProteinSimple in 2015 as the VP of the Simple Plex Platform. Their exact responsibilities during this role are unknown, but they continued to contribute to advancements in the biotechnology field. In 2018, Marty transitioned to Bio-Techne, where they assumed the role of CTO in the Analytical Solutions Division. Marty's time at Bio-Techne was marked by their leadership and contributions to the development of analytical solutions.

As of September 2021, Marty is the VP of Immunoassay Technologies at Bio-Techne, indicating their continuous growth and influence in the industry.

Marty Putnam received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from SUNY Geneseo in the years 1986 to 1989. Later, Marty pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Optics and Physics from 1991 to 1992.
