Ryan Sullivan

Ryan Sullivan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ryan started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Ryan then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they focused on designing and developing biochemical pathway assembly methods and screening assays.

Following that, Ryan worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they designed, executed, and reported experimental results and provided progress updates to technical staff and upper management.

After their research work, Ryan joined Sullivan, Ltd. as a Valuation Analyst Assistant. In this role, they performed financial valuation analysis for companies, extracted sales transaction data, and calculated ratios for valuation multiples.

Currently, Ryan is employed at Bio-Techne, initially serving as a Technical Service Specialist, where they acted as a direct customer contact, demonstrated product uses, and assisted in troubleshooting performance-related issues. Ryan then progressed to become an Advanced Scientific Support Specialist and, more recently, a Senior Scientific Support Specialist and SME Lead.

Ryan Sullivan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of Minnesota in 1999. Ryan then pursued a Master's Degree and a Ph.D in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing these degrees in 2006 and 2009, respectively.
