Robert Nelson, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of bioanalytical science and scientific affairs. Robert currently works as a Scientific Officer and Senior Director at BioAgilytix. Previously, they held the role of Scientific Director, Early Scientific Engagement, and Scientific Affairs at Labcorp Drug Development where they focused on bioanalytical strategy for clinical and nonclinical studies. Robert has also worked as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Leeds and the University of Geneva. Prior to that, they served as a Scientific Director at Covance and Bioanalytical Sciences Specialist at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB. Robert has also been involved in the management and development of bioanalytical assays during their tenure at NovImmune and Covance. Robert Nelson, PhD, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Pharmacology from The University of Edinburgh in 1998. Robert then completed a Honours Year Research Project at the James Black Foundation in London in the same year. Robert later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Physiology from The University of Edinburgh, which they completed in 2003. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained various certifications including being a member of the European Society of Gene and Cell Therapy, a company delegate to the European Bioanalysis Forum, a member of the Royal Society of Biology, a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and a member of the Research Quality Association.
