🌍 Born from the European ENABLING project (Horizon 2020), Biochica promotes the circular bioeconomy by developing Biobased Products (BBPs) with low environmental impact and high added value.

🧪 Our goal? To create and accelerate a local market for the production and use of Chemical Building Blocks (chitin and chitosan) with strategic applications in agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, and biomedicine.

🏭 We collaborate with national and European partners to scale up the production of chitin and chitosan in Italy, reducing dependence on imports and building a more sustainable, innovative, and competitive supply chain.
