Travis Beard

Travis Beard is an experienced Basecoat Technician at Biocoat since January 2015, specializing in running reactions and producing basecoat for consumer sales. In addition to this role, Travis serves as a Research Assistant at Gettysburg College, focusing on the synthesis of triazene cross-linked polymers, with funding from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, involving both spectroscopic and mechanical testing of the compounds. Travis also has experience as a Teaching Assistant, overseeing lab safety and assisting students in general and organic chemistry labs. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Gettysburg College, completed in 2014, and furthered education at Rutgers University in 2016-2017.
