Tyler Long is currently the R&D Chemistry Manager at Biocoat, where they develop hydrophilic coatings for medical devices. Prior to this role, Tyler worked as a Research Chemist at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory and as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. They also have experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, a Chemist at Sigma Aldrich, and a Researcher at NTT. Tyler holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
