Oliver Fetzer

Oliver Fetzer is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Tecan since April 2011 and at Biocom since December 2015, Oliver holds prominent positions within other organizations, including President and CEO of Viridos until August 2024 and previous roles at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, and Cerulean Pharma. With a strong background in research and development, Oliver has also led corporate strategies as SVP R&D and Corporate Development at Cubist Pharmaceuticals and as Partner and Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group. Oliver's academic credentials include an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, a BS in Biochemistry from the College of Charleston, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Medicinal Chemistry from the Medical University of South Carolina.
