Thomas Adam

Thomas Adam is a Senior Data Engineer at Biocore, LLC, where they focus on building production-level architecture for data fusion and analytics in a serverless cloud environment. They previously worked as a Systems Engineer and Associate Director of DevOps and IT at Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc., leading efforts in production lambda architecture and promoting best practices. Thomas also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, where they conducted research on adaptive restraint systems in vehicles, culminating in a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Akron, where they balanced lithium-ion batteries using decentralized control techniques.
