Daniel Grushkin has a diverse work experience across several organizations. Daniel co-founded Genspace NYC in 2009 and served as Executive Director until 2018. In 2015, they founded Biodesign Challenge and continues to work as Founder. Daniel has also held roles at the Data & Society Research Institute and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars as a Research Fellow. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer at New York University and a Journalist as a freelancer. In 2013, they were an Emerging Leader In Health Security at the UPMC Center for Health Security.
Daniel Grushkin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from The Johns Hopkins University in 1999. Daniel later obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College in 2008.
