Leisa Jackson

Leisa Jackson is a highly experienced scientist with a focus on oncology IVD assay development and biomarker research. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist and Technical Consultant at Biodesix, Inc. since October 2022, Leisa previously held positions at Invitae as a Scientist and in various roles at Biodesix, Inc. from 2015 to 2021, progressing from Research Associate to Scientist. Prior experience includes a Professional Research Assistant role at the University of Colorado Boulder and extensive research at National Jewish Health under Dr. Donald Leung, where work centered on asthma biomarkers. Leisa also participated in cell cycle research at Duke University in collaboration with Dr. Steve Haase. Leisa's educational background includes studies at Florida State University.
