John Qualter

Cofounder & Chief Creative Officer at BioDigital

John Qualter has held various positions in the medical and technology industries since 1999. John began their career as a Technology Consultant at WinMill Software in 1999. In 2002, they cofounded BioDigital Systems, LLC and held this position until 2003 when they became a 3D Medical Animator at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. In 2008, they became a Research Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center and held this position until 2013 when they cofounded BioDigital, Inc. and became the Chief Creative Officer. In 2015, they joined the Editorial Advisory Board of TEDMED.

John Qualter began their educational journey in 1991, when they attended Millburn High School. After graduating in 1995, they attended the University of Virginia, where they studied Studio Art, Digital Media, and Biology. In 2001, they obtained an MSc in Digital Imaging and Design from New York University. In 2012, they completed a Gross Anatomy Courseware program at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
