Simon Thacker

Simon Thacker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Simon began their career in 1991 as a Research and Development Scientist at Reckitt & Colman and later joined SmithKline Beecham as a Scientist in 1999. In 2000, they worked as an Applications/Sales Engineer at Sotax. In 2006, they joined BioDot, Inc as a Product Specialist, where they conceptualized validation protocols, assisted customers with method development, and participated in sales and support functions. Simon then progressed to the role of European Support Manager and General Manager (EMEAR) at BioDot, responsible for strengthening the brand, modernizing engineering and technical support functions, and managing the overall operations. Currently, Simon Thacker serves as the Managing Director (EMEAR) at BioDot.

Simon Thacker obtained their Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Chemistry from the University of Hull, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Simon later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business at The Open University, graduating between 2008 and 2012.
