Igor Galaev

Igor Galaev is the Scientific Director of Hangzhou BioNanoEM Bioengineering Co., Ltd. and serves as a Senior Advisor in Process Engineering at Bioextrax AB, having transitioned into these roles after a successful career in biotechnology. Igor completed a Master's degree in chemistry with a focus on enzymology at Moscow State University and has extensive experience in industrial R&D, including over a decade as a Senior Scientist at DSM. Since retiring in January 2021, Igor seeks part-time or project work to share expertise in bioconversion and the production of biologically active substances, leveraging a robust background in scaling up processes from lab to pilot scale. Fluent in Swedish and Russian, Igor is well-equipped for international collaboration.
