Birgitte Thygesen

Birgitte Thygesen is currently the Director of Administration and Government Relations at Biogen in Hillerød, Denmark. With a career spanning several decades, Birgitte previously held the position of Head of Section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark from 1985 to 1992, and later served as the Head of Section at Copenhagen Municipality from 1992 to 1993. Birgitte was also the Business Development Director at Copenhagen Capacity from 1994 to 2001, and worked as a Consultant at COWI for a year. Birgitte holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Aarhus University, which was completed in 1984.
