Chris Helal

Chris Helal is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in medicinal chemistry and synthetic medicine design. Currently serving as the Head of Synthetic Medicine Design and Vice President at Biogen since October 2019, Chris previously held several senior leadership positions at Pfizer from November 1997 to October 2019, including Senior Director in multiple areas such as Internal Medicine, Applied Synthesis Technology, and Neuroscience. Chris earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The Ohio State University.
