Deborah Ferguson

Deborah Ferguson is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director of Research at Biogen since January 2024. Previously, Deborah held the position of Vice President of Scientific Strategy and Communications at Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from January 2018 to December 2023. Prior to this role, Deborah worked as a self-employed consultant and medical writer, providing scientific strategy and analytical support for drug discovery from 2013 to 2017. Deborah's earlier tenure at Reata Pharmaceuticals included positions as Senior Director/Associate Vice President of Discovery Biology, where responsibilities encompassed the design and execution of preclinical studies, and Associate Director/Director of Research, focusing on strategic guidance and collaboration in various therapeutic areas.
