Declan Connolly

Declan Connolly is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and marketing sectors. Since July 2019, Declan has served as the Commercial Associate Director and MS & SMA Business Lead at Biogen, while also holding the position of Marketing Lead. As President and Chairman of the Board at the Pharmaceutical Managers Institute since 2011, Declan has significantly influenced the organization's strategic direction. Prior to Biogen, Declan held several key roles at Pfizer from 2002 to 2019, achieving notable success in brand management and driving revenue growth across various therapeutic areas. Declan’s earlier career includes marketing roles at Ericsson, Intuition Publishing Ltd., and Enterprise Ireland, showcasing a strong foundation in innovative marketing strategies. Declan holds multiple degrees from University College Dublin and has pursued further education in digital marketing at the Irish Management Institute and Digital Marketing Institute.
