Fion Cheng

Fion Cheng, CQA, currently serves as Vice President of Global Engineering at Biogen and has held the interim position of Vice President and Site General Manager at RTP Pharma since January 2022. Prior to Biogen, Fion occupied the role of Vice President of Global Engineering and Facilities at Novartis Gene Therapies from August 2020 to December 2021. A notable career at Gilead Sciences spanned from April 2015 to August 2020, where Fion advanced through various leadership positions in capital planning and facilities operations. Earlier experiences include project management at Grifols and leading the GMP Transformation Program at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics. Fion's foundational engineering expertise is backed by a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Kansas.
