Greg Stromberg

External Network Strategy – Operating Model Development And Deployment

Greg Stromberg has extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, currently serving as the Head of Site Manufacturing Science for Gene Therapy Manufacturing at Biogen since May 2007. In this role, Greg leads a global team of scientists and engineers, focusing on raw materials for internal and external manufacturing, while also guiding the Gene Therapy Starting Materials strategy team to establish best practices. Previous positions at Biogen include Director of Materials Science Lead, where Greg enhanced supplier collaboration and analytical testing capabilities, as well as Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) Program Leader, overseeing cross-functional teams and managing gene therapy project timelines. Greg's earlier experience includes a role as Associate Director in Manufacturing Sciences, where Greg implemented global process analytics and directed CDMO selection for Biogen’s first cell therapy program. Prior to Biogen, Greg was the PAT Project Lead at Talecris Biotherapeutics, and holds an MBA from NC State Poole College of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Genetics from Michigan State University.
