Jeanne MacIel

Jeanne Maciel has extensive experience in quality documentation and management within the biotechnology and food testing industries. Currently serving as Sr Analyst III in Quality Technical Systems at Biogen Idec since February 2008, Jeanne oversees the Corporate Quality Documentation group, managing global documentation for non-production groups. Prior to this, Jeanne held various documentation roles at Biogen Idec from April 2001 to December 2005, including a position as an Auditor in the Internal Auditing group after starting in Corporate Documentation. Jeanne's career began at Krueger Food Laboratories, where Jeanne progressed from technician to Laboratory Manager over a span of 14 years, overseeing testing for economic adulteration and pesticide residues. Jeanne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Rhode Island between 1977 and 1981.
