John Pieracci

John Pieracci is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Site Head and General Manager for Biogen's Gene Therapy Manufacturing Facility in Raleigh, NC, since November 2004. Prior roles at Biogen include Vice President of Global Biologics Development, Head of Gene Therapy Process and Technology Development, and multiple leadership positions in Protein Purification Process Development. Prior to Biogen, John Pieracci was a Scientist in Protein Purification Process Development at Idec Pharmaceuticals from January 2002 to November 2004. John Pieracci holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
