Jose Sanchez

Jose Sanchez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biopharmaceutical operations and management. Currently serving as VP General Manager for Solothurn Operations at Biogen since November 2020, Jose oversees large-scale DS manufacturing and is accountable for campus strategies and operational performance. Prior to this role, Jose was Site Head for BioTechnology Operations at Novartis in Singapore, managing the operationalization of a state-of-the-art facility. Jose also held various leadership positions at Lonza, including Head of Mammalian Operations and Director of Manufacturing, where significant accomplishments included growing staff and reducing attrition rates. Previous roles include Technology Director at Genentech and managerial positions at GEA Group and Kraft Jacobs Suchard. Jose holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Master's in Operations & Supply Chain Management from IE Business School.
