Ling (Karen) Li is currently the Head of China R&D at Biogen, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at Shanghai Allist Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. for a brief period in 2020 and held the role of VP of Clinical Development at Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine Co., Ltd. from 2017 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Ling was a Global Clinical Leader at Bayer from 2010 to 2016 and the Head of Clinical Development at Simcere Pharmaceutical Group in 2016. Additionally, they were the TA Head of Clinical Development at Johnson & Johnson from 1998 to 2009. Ling is currently pursuing both a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Science (MS) at Peking University.
