Michael Benoit

Michael Benoit has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as the Pipeline Commercial Lead for the Rare Neuromuscular Disease Franchise at Biogen since May 2007. In this role, Michael is responsible for commercialization strategy and business case development for pipeline assets. Prior positions at Biogen include Director of Global Strategic Forecasting and Associate Director of Global Forecasting & Analytics, where Michael led teams in forecasting and strategic decision support for a diverse portfolio including critical therapy areas such as Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s Disease. Earlier experience at Putnam Associates involved consulting for major pharmaceutical companies on various strategy projects, while Michael began the career at Synygy managing sales force analytics. Michael holds an MBA in General Management from Duke University and dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
