Peter Self

Peter Self is an experienced professional in Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS+S), currently serving as the Head of EHS at Biogen since February 2013. In this role, Peter manages all EHS+S aspects of Biogen's RTP operations, having previously held positions such as Senior Manager and Manager of EHS+S programs at Biogen, focusing on environmental compliance and safety culture enhancement. Prior to Biogen, Peter worked as a Senior EHS Engineer at Eisai, where responsibilities included managing OSHA Safety Programs and conducting process safety risk assessments. Peter's career also includes experience as a Risk Management Engineer at Qimonda and as an Environmental Scientist at Radian. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health Science from the University of Georgia.
