Rida Umar

Rida Umar has a diverse background in strategy, operations, and community engagement, currently serving as an MBA Co-Op in Strategy & Operations within the Neuropsychiatry division at Biogen since July 2025. Rida is also a small business owner of Written by Rida since October 2020. Previous roles include Engagement & Communications Lead and other marketing positions at DM Clinical Research, a Client Solutions Associate at GLG, and a Community Outreach Analyst at Common Threads. Early experience includes serving as an Outreach Coordinator at CHAT and as an Information Associate and Employee Wellness Intern at the University of Houston. Rida is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Minor in Business Management from the University of Houston.
