Tom Wiegand

Tom Wiegand is a seasoned professional with a robust background in quality management and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Senior Manager of Technical Product Complaints at Biogen since June 2011. In this role, Tom oversees key processes such as Vendor Change Notifications and Supplier Complaint Investigations, and is responsible for creating Quality Agreements in support of global raw material management. Previously, Tom held positions at Biogen Idec as Senior Associate III and Supervisor, contributing to raw material improvement projects and supervising antibody production. Tom's earlier career includes supervisory roles at DSM and GlaxoSmithKline, with a foundational experience as a Manufacturing Operator. Tom holds a Master's degree in Regulatory Affairs from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from East Carolina University.
