Wei Liang

Wei Liang is an accomplished biostatistics professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Associate Director of Biostatistics at Biogen since October 2021, Wei leads statistical efforts for the systemic lupus erythematosus program of Litifilimab. Prior positions include Associate Director of Biostatistics at Grifols, where leadership was provided for multiple plasma protein projects and successful regulatory submissions, and Senior Biostatistician at UCB, contributing to NDA/MAA/ROW submissions for Briviact®. Additional experience includes roles at Parexel, Gilead Sciences, and PPD, with responsibilities ranging from overseeing clinical trials to serving as a biostatistical liaison. Wei holds a Master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Clinical Pharmaceutics from the University at Buffalo, complemented by an MD in Internal Medicine from Nankai University.
