William Shaw is a Sr. Director and IP Counsel at Biogen, a position held since 2013. Previously, they served as Patent Counsel at Boston Scientific from 1991 to 2004 and worked as an R&D Engineer/Patent Agent. Earlier in their career, William was an Engineer at Kendall Healthcare from 1990 to 1991. They earned a JD from Suffolk University Law School (2004), a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah (1990), and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1987).
