Arthur McDaniel has worked in the IT industry since 2003. From 2003-2012, they were a Systems Engineer for the US Department of Interior, Fish & Wildlife Service. In this role, they provided executive IT services, monitored and performed audits of network and workstation status, and provided training and documentation for regional and nationwide software and hardware migrations/deployments. From 2005-2013, they were a Lead Application Developer for Octavus + Antoni, where they developed and maintained web applications for private sector, non-profit organizations and government clients. Arthur also created backend, intranet, content management solutions and custom web services in a LAMP environment. From 2013-2018, they were an Application Developer/Operations Engineer for Purple Strategies, LLC, where they were responsible for creating, deploying, maintaining and securing software, mobile and web applications for public and private sector companies. Finally, from 2018-present, they have been a Lead Software Engineer for BioInformatics Inc., where they are responsible for identifying, developing and implementing software-based solutions internally to improve efficiency and to maintain data accuracy for the Sales, Marketing, Fielding, Analytics and Science Advisory departments. Arthur also manages the development team responsible for maintaining the Science Advisory Board website and social network.
Arthur McDaniel attended The George Washington University from 1997 to 2002, where they studied Computer Science. Arthur also obtained an ITIL V3 certification from Loyalist Certifaction Services in July 2011.
