Sharon Farley

National Sales Manager at Bioinformatics

Sharon Farley is the current National Sales Manager at Bioinformatics. Sharon has also worked as a Bioinformatics Scientific Engineer at QIAGEN, a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Vaccine Development & Global Health, and a Senior Bioinformatics Software Engineer at the Institute for Genome Sciences. Sharon received their PhD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2016 and their BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007.

Sharon Farley earned their PhD in Epidemiology and Human Genetics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Graduate School. Sharon also holds a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine (Translation Sciences) from the same school. In addition, they have a Graduate Certificate in Management of Technology from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Sharon also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics from Jamia Hamdard. Her undergraduate degree is in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. Sharon attended St. Thomas'​ School, Mandir Marg for their high school education, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Finally, they have a certification from Udacity in AWS Fundamental course in the AWS Machine Learning Scholarship.

They work with Walt Schoenborn - VP, Digital Media Sales, Kieron Bryan - Qualitative Research Project Manager. Their manager is Bill Kelly, President & Co-Founder.
