Steve Helms

Steve is a problem-solver taking ideas and problems and creating technology solutions that address the issues at hand. He has been involved in various aspects of computing for 21 years in numerous capacities. Evolving from a UNIX administrator, to firewall administrator, to security consultant and penetration tester, to SaaS entrepreneur. Steve has architected, deployed, evaluated, and maintained numerous infrastructures and technologies. His experience spans multiple industries including energy, healthcare, banking, and higher education. He has a love-hate relationship with technology that sees both the good and evil that it creates and often enjoys old-fashioned paper notes (much harder to hack into remotely). When not overseeing technology he can be found at a baseball game. He has been married for 20 years and has five children.

Steve holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in information systems from Texas A&M University.
