Joel Sirois specializes in driving real-time profitability for industrial biotechnology companies through the creation and commercialization of intelligent instruments. They have led multiple initiatives aimed at reducing production losses and enhancing sustainability in operations. Currently, as a Professor-Engineer in Industrial Bioprocess Engineering at Université de Sherbrooke, they mentor final-year biotechnological engineering students and have successfully guided them to consecutive victories in the Canadian National SNC Lavalin Plant Design Competition. Additionally, Joel is the Founder and CEO of BioIntelligence Technologies, where they spearhead a multidisciplinary team focused on advancing bioprocess technologies.
