John

John Ma is a Bioinformatics Scientist at BioLegend since May 2020, contributing to six product and protocol development projects related to single-cell proteogenomics while collaborating with various molecular scientists and academic stakeholders. Previously, John served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center from March 2016 to May 2020, where over 20 projects were undertaken to establish next-generation sequencing analysis pipelines. Additional experience includes a part-time consultancy at TMC Consulting Agency and various research roles at The University of Iowa, where significant algorithms were developed for genomic analysis. John holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Iowa and has completed a Data Analyst Nanodegree from Udacity, along with a Master's and Bachelor's in Bioengineering and Biochemistry, respectively, from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
