Christopher Chu has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Christopher currently works at Biolinq as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, and previously held the position of Manufacturing Engineer III at Truvian.
Prior to their current roles, Christopher worked at Dexcom for several years. During their time at Dexcom, they served as a Process Development Engineer, where they led cross-functional teams, collaborated with vendors, and implemented manufacturing changes to reduce product waste and increase flexibility in the sterilization process. Christopher also contributed to automation projects for next-generation products, supported cartoning automation, and implemented continuous monitoring of process requirements. Christopher was responsible for failure analysis and root cause investigation, and they conducted feasibility and risk reduction experiments for design changes. Christopher also played a key role in the development and qualification of high-throughput packaging automation, as well as the development and proceduralization of test methods for packaging evaluation.
Before joining Dexcom, Christopher gained experience as a Process Improvement Intern at Cognionics, Inc. Christopher also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Molecular Engineering for Cellular Imaging and Reprogramming Laboratory and as a Research Assistant at the UCSD - Center for Biomechanics Research. Additionally, Christopher has interned at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and served as a Research Assistant at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Christopher Chu completed their education with a Master of Engineering degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego. Christopher earned this degree between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the same institution, from 2010 to 2014. Before attending college, Christopher attended De La Salle High School from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Christopher obtained a Six Sigma Yellow Belt in November 2018, and a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification from USA Archery in August 2013.
