Claire Baker

Claire Baker is an experienced professional in business development, currently serving as the Associate Director of Business Development for Emerging Markets at BioLite since March 2021. In this role, Claire focuses on partnering with organizations across Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia to enhance access to solar energy and clean cooking solutions. Prior to this position, Claire held roles including Senior Business Development Manager for West and Central Africa at BioLite, where responsibilities encompassed managing grant writing and project management, and Head of Foundation at Africa Digital Media Foundation. Additionally, Claire co-founded and hosts The Yes Girls Podcast, discussing experiences of exploration and learning. Claire also operates Clarity Partners, providing consulting services on fundraising and communications, and has a diverse background in business development, communications, and journalism through various previous roles. Claire holds a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages from Durham University.
