Jonathan Cedar

Jonathan Cedar is an experienced entrepreneur and engineer, currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of BioLite since October 2009, where advanced energy technologies are developed for off-grid communities. In addition to leading BioLite, Cedar co-founded Climate Neutral in October 2018 and actively contributes as a board member at various organizations, including the Outdoor Industry Association and WAZER. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Design Engineer at Smart Design and as a Ship's Engineer at Sea Education Association, where responsibilities included teaching mechanical and electrical systems to students aboard a research vessel. Cedar holds a degree from Dartmouth College, earned between 1999 and 2003.
