Michael Marshall

Associate Director Of System Engineering at BioLite

Michael Marshall has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2022, they joined BioLite as the Associate Director of System Engineering, overseeing the integration of battery technology into larger battery-integrated products. From 2018 to 2022, Michael worked at Briggs & Stratton, starting as a Mechanical Engineer II and then progressing to Battery Engineer III and eventually becoming the Battery Engineering Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for developing lithium-ion battery platforms and coordinating the development, integration, and testing of battery pack systems. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2018, Michael worked at Wacker Neuson SE, serving as a Development Engineer II and I, as well as a Design Engineer I. Their responsibilities included new product validation, machinery instrumentation, controls programming, and accelerated life testing for various equipment. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Lifeguard & Swim Instructor at the Franklin Recreational Department from 2008 to 2017 and held positions as a Security Monitor and Community Advisor at the University of Minnesota from 2009 to 2012. Michael also completed an internship as an Assistant Engineering Project Manager at Bemis Company, Inc. in 2011, where they gained experience in industrial engineering.

Michael Marshall attended Martin Luther High School in Greendale, WI from 2004 to 2008 and obtained their high school diploma. Michael then pursued higher education at the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Michael obtained the imc Studio and Famos certification from imc DataWorks, LLC in September 2017, as well as the LabVIEW Core I certification from National Instruments in March 2017. It is unknown if Michael obtained any certification for Forktruck Operation from Wacker Neuson, as the institution and year of obtaining are not provided.
