Amparo Cuéllar has extensive experience in business development and sales within the biopharmaceutical industry. Amparo is currently the Business Development Director for Europe at BioLizard. Prior to this role, they held various positions at CellCarta, including Director of Business Development and Head of Sales for the subsidiary company, Biogazelle. Amparo also has research experience in plant systems biology, having worked as a Research Fellow at VIB Department of Plant Systems Biology and Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) - IBMCP-CSIC. Amparo holds a PhD in Sciences: Biochemistry and Biotechnology from VIB Department of Plant Systems Biology and has worked as a visiting researcher at the Institute of Environmental Sciences - Utrecht University.
Amparo Cuéllar earned a PhD in Sciences: Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Ghent University, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Later, in 2015, they completed Key Account Management at Vlerick Business School. Prior to that, Amparo completed their undergraduate studies in Biotechnology, specializing in Agricultural Engineering, at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2002 to 2008.
