Michael Smanski

Michael Smanski is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota and a Technology Fellow at BioMADE. Michael is also a Co-Founder at NovoClade. Previously, Michael was an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota and an HHMI Fellow at MIT. Michael leverages new strategies for DNA synthesis and assembly to optimize biotechnological processes requiring multiple genes. Michael holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from UC San Diego.
