Andreas Henning

Andreas Henning currently serves as Director of CTM Manufacturing at BioNTech SE, a position held since November 2021, following a tenure as Associate Director in the same department. Prior to joining BioNTech, Andreas was Deputy Head of Department for RNA Therapeutics at BioNTech IMFS from October 2019 to November 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as Head of Formulation & Process Development at IIS - Innovative Injection Systems and LTS - Lohmann Therapie Systeme from February 2012 to September 2019, and Development Manager for Pharmaceuticals at IDT Biologika from July 2010 to February 2012. Furthermore, academic contributions were made as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from January 2009 to March 2010, and as a PhD Student in Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceutics from 2006 to 2009, supported by the BMBF - NanoInhale initiative.
