Andreas Steidel

Andreas Steidel is a Research Specialist in RNA Manufacturing Technology Development & Automation at BioNTech SE, with prior experience as a Research Associate in the same field. Before joining BioNTech in July 2021, Andreas worked as a Laboratory Technician at AbbVie, focusing on method development and validation for drug product development. Additionally, as a Pharmacy Intern at AbbVie, responsibilities included investigating the erosion behavior of Amorphous Solid Dispersions and conducting various analytical studies. Earlier experience also includes an Erasmus Internship at the University of Bergen, where expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry was developed. Andreas holds a Staatsexamen in Pharmacy from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, completed in 2019.
