Claudia C.

Claudia C. is a detail-oriented pediatric infectious disease physician with over ten years of clinical research experience in an academic setting and more than three years in industry as a clinical developer in infectious disease vaccines. They currently serve as Medical Director at BioNTech SE, leading the development of the TB vaccine program, and previously held the role of Medical Lead for multiple Phase 1 First-in-Human vaccine trials. Claudia has also contributed to academic institutions such as the Technical University of Munich and Seattle Children's Hospital. They hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Washington - School of Medicine, a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia.
