Cornelia Weber

Cornelia Weber is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of CMC at BioNTech SE since July 2023, where responsibilities include leading CMC teams and collaborating with contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs). Prior to this role, Cornelia Weber spent nearly two decades at Novartis, ascending through various leadership positions including Technical Project Leader and Unit Head for Bioprocess and Analytical Sciences, managing large teams and budgets while overseeing critical project deliverables in technical research and development. Cornelia Weber holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from ETH Zürich, complemented by a strong academic background in biotechnology and biology from renowned institutions.
