David Eisel

David Eisel is an experienced professional in the field of cancer immunotherapy, currently serving as Associate Director for Cancer Vaccines at BioNTech SE since September 2018, after holding the position of Scientist in the same area. Prior to this role, David was a PhD student at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from March 2015 to August 2018, where involvement included delivering seminars, supervising undergraduates, and enhancing computing skills through various courses. David's research experience encompasses advanced techniques such as multi-colour flow cytometry, FACS, ELISpot, CRISPR/Cas, and others. Additionally, David volunteered as a mentor for high school students, supporting the Life-Science Lab initiative. Educational credentials include a Dr. rer. nat. in Immunology from Heidelberg University and advanced degrees in Molecular Cell Biology and Immunology, as well as Biology, from the University of Tübingen.
