John Srouji

John Srouji is an experienced biochemist with a strong background in MHC class I and II technology development, particularly in the context of immunotherapy. Currently serving as Director of Biochemistry at BioNTech SE since May 2020, John has held multiple roles including Associate Director and Group Leader. Prior to BioNTech, John worked as Biochemistry Group Leader and Senior Scientist at Neon Therapeutics from July 2017 to May 2020. John began a career in research as a Staff Research Associate at UC Berkeley and later engaged in significant work at Harvard University as a Postdoctoral Fellow and a joint PhD student in Molecular and Cellular Biology. John holds a PhD in Biochemistry and a Master of Arts in Biology from Harvard University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
