Jonathon Blake

Jonathon Blake is an experienced bioinformatician currently serving as Senior Director of Bioinformatics Integration and Operations at BioNTech SE since July 2016, where previous roles included Director and Head positions in the same field. Prior to this, Jonathon Blake worked at EMBL from July 2003 to June 2016, contributing as a Senior Bioinformatician and managing collaborations for bioinformatic analysis in next-generation sequencing studies. Early career experience includes roles as a Computational Biologist at GPC Biotech and IT Specialist at IBM United Kingdom Ltd. Jonathon Blake holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from King's College London, an MSc in Molecular Pathology from the University of Dundee, and a BSc in Genetics from the University of Nottingham.
