Malte Pohl

Malte Pohl is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate M&A, strategic projects, and transformation. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate M&A and Strategic Projects at BioNTech SE since January 2022, Malte has established the corporate M&A department within Finance, focusing on enhancing M&A success rates and value creation in the Pharma-Life Science, Biotech, and AI sectors. Prior to this role, Malte held various positions at PwC from April 2008 to December 2021, including Senior Manager in Deals & Transaction Services, where leadership of large teams and cross-border projects in industrial manufacturing, automotive, and TMT industries were key responsibilities.
