They have held positions such as Senior Scientist at Bioretec Ltd. and VTT, where they managed R&D projects and led Plastics R&D initiatives. They were previously the Head of Sales and Marketing at Arctic Biomaterials Medical, focusing on bioglassfiber reinforced materials, and served as an Expert Scientist at Bayer OY, specializing in polymer-based medical devices. Joonas completed a Master of Science in Biomaterials Science from Tampere University of Technology.
