Joseph Borrello

Joseph Borrello currently serves as Acting CTO and a Digital Manufacturing & Materials Science Consultant at BioSapien, focusing on the technical development of additive manufacturing platforms for oncology applications. In addition, Joseph holds the position of Head of Engineering at Sinai BioDesign, where oversight of R&D efforts and medical device prototyping is paramount. Joseph also contributes as an Advisor for Nucleate and Co-Founder & Partner of Wolfco Design. Experience includes managing the THRIVE Fellowship Program at the Icahn School of Medicine, and previous roles encompass CEO of DynamiCal, Prototyping Fellow at Sinai BioDesign, and Project Lead at Dynamic Braille. Joseph's educational background includes dual PhDs in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Icahn School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Engineering from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY.
